Let your emotions soar.
You can’t help but be drawn in by the the lithe and graceful first movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.23, and left breathless after its deeply expressive Adagio, and effervescent finale. It’s hard to imagine a more emotionally involving symphony than Rachmaninov’s Second—from its brooding beginning, through moments of passionate abandon and pure joy, it’s like a love affair with a fabulous ending. And what a dazzling opener by the Korean composer Unsuk Chin! Inspired by the music of Beethoven, subito con forza brings him into the 21st century— with dramatic flair.
